Here are some helpful tips on shopping the Art Gallery at Devon online to enhance your gallery experience.
BEFORE SHOPPING
Before shopping on this website, please be sure to read to read these Helpful Tips and our Terms and Conditions of Service. By using this site, consuming content on this site or on the Devon Horse Show website, placing an order with the Art Gallery at Devon site, you are accepting the information set forth here and within the Terms and Conditions of Service.
GENERAL INFORMATION
- The majority of works in the Gallery are framed art (with the exception of sculpture). Dimensions of the full-framed pieces are noted. Dimensions of the artwork unframed are provided for your information, but the artwork is sold with the frame for ease of hanging. For any exceptions where the art is available unframed, or only without a frame, these will be clearly specified. Stated dimensions are made with the best intentions for accuracy and provided for your information only. Stated dimensions of artwork are approximate and should not be used as representation of the artwork’s precise or actual size.
- The majority of works are original art. Some artists may have included reproductions of their original art; in these cases, the descriptions will clearly state "print,” “giclee,” or “reproduction.” All reproductions are Virtual Gallery only - please see below for fulfillment information.
- Most of the artwork is available in the Art Gallery at Devon on the horse show grounds. Purchases of works available in the physical gallery can be picked up at the Art Gallery at Devon during show hours. Please bring your order confirmation email to pick up at the Gallery during operating hours.
- Some of the artwork available on the website is not on display at the physical gallery and will be noted “Virtual Only.” Fulfillment of “Virtual Only” artwork(s) is arranged between the Artist and the Purchaser. The Art Gallery at Devon will communicate the purchaser information to the artist. If possible and approved, “Virtual Only” artwork(s) may be arranged for pick-up at the Art Gallery at Devon during show hours.
- In the event that pick-up of purchased artwork(s) cannot be made, whether the artwork is located in the physical, in-person gallery or virtual only gallery, delivery or shipping of the artwork(s) are to be arranged between the Artist and the Purchaser. Additional fees for delivery and/or shipping may be incurred and will be paid by the purchaser directly to the artist.
- After an online purchase, please contact us at artgalleryatdevon@gmail.com to inform us about your pick-up, delivery, and/or shipping requests. The Art Gallery at Devon will connect you with the artist if necessary.
- In the exceptional case that an online purchase is made at the same time as a purchase in the in-person physical, gallery, our online buyers will be notified and purchase price will be refunded in full. We thank you for your understanding that simultaneous purchases may happen although we aim to avoid these situations.
- Pennsylvania Sales Tax of 6% will be charged for all applicable purchases. Payments for the Virtual Gallery can only be made via our online credit card system. A credit card fee of 3.5% will be charged for all sales using a credit card for payment.
HOW TO SHOP
- Shop the gallery by clicking on “Enter Gallery” or “View All Art” from the navigation menu. This enables you to view all artwork in the gallery, presented in alphabetical order by title. These may be sorted to your preference by reverse alphabetical order, and price.
- You can also view all the participating artists, read their biographies, and all their art in one place by selecting “View All Artists” from the “Enter Gallery” dropdown menu. You may also select by the name of the artist, listed in alphabetical order by last name.
- You can search keywords by using the magnifying glass or search bar. Keywords may include subject matter, colors, or themes. If a search does not return results for a specific keyword, that does not mean there is no art with your desired characteristic, so you may wish to try alternate words or synonyms.
- Product description filters and categories are approximate and should not be used as representation of the artwork’s precise or actual description. Product description filters and categories include such information as “Artwork Status,” “Subject Matter,” “Medium,” “Artwork Size,” “Orientation,” “Frame Color,” and “Gallery Location” and are available for your shopping convenience but may include errors. All information is made with the best intentions for accuracy and provided for your information only.
