 Just as everyday life takes her focus in many different directions, Heather Hedin Peacock's acrylic paintings are an expression of that same interest in varied subjects and a desire to depict them in a representational manner that still reflects the world as she sees it- bold, colorful and beautiful.

 Heather is drawn to images with strong light, deep shadows and brilliant color which add a deeper level of beauty to the already picturesque scenes she encounters but also bring beauty and worth to the more simple and mundane. For her, my art is very much about loving the process of painting and seeing a piece come to completion. Heather's paintings are not flamboyant, mysterious, trendy or shocking but simply a naturalistic depiction of life that she hopes many viewers will be able to connect with and enjoy.
