Leslie Ehrin

Leslie Ehrin has been painting since 16 months of age when her artist mother introduced her to painting in the bathtub using tempura paint with newsprint taped to the walls. She later wrote stories to accompany her paintings, which later led her to major in Art History and English Literature at The University of Pennsylvania before pursuing graduate studies in Painting at Pennsylvania Academy of Fine Arts. Leslie managed ArtWorks Gallery at Philadelphia Museum of Art for nine years before starting Leslie Ehrin Fine Art.
She is best known for her colorful, textured paintings of Tuscany, Italy, but she also paints rural landscapes with PA farm animals, and seascapes from Nantucket to the Caribbean. Leslie is an Artist and Storyteller, who teaches painting and writing to adults and teens while she pursues her own work.
