Ellen Gavin

Ellen Gavin is the 2024 Devon Horse Show and Country Fair poster artist.

Ellen A. Gavin an oil painter currently living in Vineland, New Jersey. Born in Philadelphia, she received a B.F.A. cum laude from Tyler School of Art in 1976. After a successful design career in New York, Ellen wished to be ‘just an artist,’ and in 2001 opened Green Boots Studio to paint full time.

Ellen has an energetic painterly style; her original paintings have been awarded and collected throughout the US. She loves a variety of subjects figurative, urban and equestrian. Listed in Who’s Who in American Art. She was selected poster artist for the Devon Horse Show in 2024 and 2020. A longtime exhibitor at Rittenhouse Square Fine Art Show, as well as countless regional and national equestrian, plein air and art events.
