Kim Lutschaunig

Kim creates painted diaries. Oil paintings of birds and trees inspired by songs and stories from her life. These paintings are love letters to herself. They have helped her work through both the glory and grief in her life. Each painting is named after a song, and the story of each piece is a memory of her life, with some of the lyrics sprinkled in. When Kim chooses an image to paint, a magical thing happens: a song starts playing in her head and the story starts to write itself. It feels electric! She has worked in many different roles throughout her life, and now that she's in a new season, she can devote herself to her art -- and she's never been happier. It's never too late -- anything is possible!
