Kevin Donahoe

As a lifelong artist, Kevin has always been passionately committed to his craft. His journey began in graphic design and illustration, where he honed his skills and learned the importance of creating visually striking and authentic work. After earning his BFA at the Maryland Institute College of Art, he wanted to share his gift and spent 25 years teaching art in public schools, while continuing to create freelance works on the side.

The isolation of the Covid years drew him to the outdoors and he spent a lot of time painting plein air, outside with his easel studying nature and developing his skills. Living in Maine, the beauty was endless.

Collaboration is at the heart of his process. Kevin enjoys working closely with clients, reviewing reference photos, and discussing size, composition and media choices together. He offers a diverse selection of custom artwork across various mediums, including illustrations, watercolors, acrylics, and oil paintings. In an age dominated by digital design and cookie-cutter templates, Kevin prides himself in creating original pieces that are distinctly unique and will resonate personally for the client.
