Janice Balson

Janice Balson is a Southeastern Pennsylvania artist who paints mostly in oils with sill life, landscapes, and animal art. She is willing to challenge herself with various mediums, tools, and surfaces to explore new beginnings. Janice works in painter groups, art centers, and is a participant in plein air events. She loves the spontaneity in capturing the moment.

Janice is a member of the Brandywine Museum of Art, Chester County Art Association, Delaware Art League, Historic Yellow Springs, and the Wayne Art Center. She has won many awards including those from Z Gallery, Wayne Art Center, New Hope Art League, Chester County Art Association, Avenue of the Arts, Beauty Arts Small Treasures Show, DVAL, and Peoples Choice Award.
